How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and prepare quotations;
  • take steps before entering into a contract and manage customer or supplier relationships;
  • design, manufacture, assemble, supply and dispatch agreed work;
  • maintain business, financial and legal records;
  • protect our website, systems, staff and business; and
  • send marketing only where we have a lawful basis to do so, with a clear way to opt out.

Our lawful bases may include taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, pursuing our legitimate business interests, and consent where consent is required. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing, storage and retention

We share personal information only where it is reasonably necessary. Recipients may include website and IT providers, delivery providers, professional advisers, authorities where the law requires it, and trusted manufacturing partners involved in an agreed project. We limit information shared to what is needed for the relevant purpose.

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure that an appropriate legal safeguard is in place.

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, and to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Customer and accounting records may need to be retained for the applicable statutory period.

Your data protection rights

Subject to the circumstances and legal exemptions, you may have the right to ask us for access to your personal information, to correct or erase it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a portable copy. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Please contact us first if you have a concern. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
